Georgia Organics is seeking workshop proposals for our annual Georgia Organics Conference & Expo, on February 7 & 8, 2020 in Athens, GA.
The South is home to some of the most innovative farmers in sustainable, organic growing. Our two-day annual conference convenes these leaders alongside environmentalists, educators, community organizers, chefs, home gardeners, and good food enthusiasts. By bringing these diverse participants together we hope to inspire and re-energize while mobilizing people to learn new skills and generate new ideas that will fuel Georgia’s organic food growth.
With more than 800 attendees expected at our 2020 conference, Georgia Organics is seeking proposals from farmers, producers, educators, researchers, activists, and members of related organizations and businesses to present practical knowledge, research, and first-hand experience through workshops and educational sessions.
Our conference hosts over 50 educational sessions. We hope to highlight the following topics through conference content:

Workshop rooms are set up classroom style and will accommodate between 25- 100 attendees.

Priority will be given to proposals received by June 21, 2019. Submissions received after this date will be considered on based on space and content. Accepted proposals will be notified by August 1, 2019.
All speakers will receive a Complimentary All Conference Pass which includes access to Friday and Saturday educational content, meals, AND a ticket to the Farmers Feast. Additional requests or requirements will be considered.
