Q: Where do I find my Georgia Organics member discount code so that I can receive my VIP member discount for my Education Pass?
A: Current members were sent an email on Oct. 15 that included the conference registration member discount code. If you did not receive that email and you believe your membership is current, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: How do I become a member or renew my membership?
A: Join us as a member of Georgia Organics by clicking here. Then scroll down and click on the “Join” button.
Cancellation & Substitution
Q: I can no longer attend conference, can I get a refund?
A: Yes, we will refund the registration less a $50 processing fee until Jan. 13, 2019. Please e-mail your cancellation request to email@example.com.
Q: I can no longer attend conference and would like to substitute someone else for my registration. How do I go about this?
A: We are happy substitute the name on our end, but it’s up to you to work out the finances of the substitution. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and give us the name and email address of your substitute.
Q: Do volunteers receive a discount?
A: Yes! In exchange for working a four-hour shift, you will receive a $40 registration reimbursement check after the conference. Sign up here to volunteer! **NOTE: You must register (and pay) to attend conference in order to receive the reimbursement. **
Q: I signed up for a volunteer shift, but want to change my shift time. What do I do?
A: No problem, you can switch shifts if you need to on your own. Find the link in your volunteer confirmation email for instructions on switching shifts. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com
Q: I signed up to volunteer, but have decided I don’t want to volunteer. What do I do?
A: Email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you will not be available for your shift.
Q: Do volunteers receive multiple reimbursements for multiple shifts?
No, each volunteer receives only one $40 reimbursement.
Q: Do students receive a discount?
A: We extend deep discounts for conference to everyone who joins us as a member, and student memberships are half the price of regular memberships.
Q: Do you offer scholarships to attend conference?
A: A limited number of need-based scholarships are available for Georgia’s growers, good food advocates, leaders, and educators. Scholarship applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis, so please apply early as they will be awarded on a first come, first-served basis.
Q: How will scholarship recipients be notified?
A: Recipients will be notified by email and will be provided with a specified time frame to accept and register for the conference. Those who do not meet the specified registration deadline will risk forfeiture of the scholarship.
Q: I received a scholarship. Can I still volunteer?
A: Yes! We would love for you to volunteer! But you won’t receive the $40 reimbursement if you do not pay for an Education Pass.

Waiting Lists for Farm Tours/Field Trips, All-day Workshops, and In-depth Workshops
Q: If a Farm Tour, All-day Workshop or In-depth Workshop is sold out, can I be added to a waiting list for it?
A: Yes! Email us at email@example.com with your request and include “Waiting List <workshop/tour name>” in the subject. We will notify you after Jan. 28, 2019 if we can accommodate your request.
Friday morning Offsite Workshops and Farm Tours/Field Trips – and Registration Check-in
Q: When should I check in at conference registration if I am attending a morning farm tour or offsite workshop?
A: If you are attending an offsite workshop or morning farm tour, you can go directly to your scheduled site first thing in the morning. Check in at registration at the conference center mid-day before you grab lunch or attend any of the afternoon conference workshops or tours.

Q: I am registered for an offsite workshop and/or Farm Tour/Field Trip. How do I know where to go and what I need to do when I get there?
A: Look for an email from us in late January with instructions and directions. If you do not receive an email with this information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know.
Q: How/where do I register for an exhibit booth?
A: To register for an exhibit booth, please contact Porter Mitchell at email@example.com. We have several booth options available for which she can provide more information.
Q: I’m an exhibitor but want to attend workshops, is that cool?
A: Yes! New for 2019… Your exhibit booth registration includes TWO attendee Education Passes. Please be sure to register your exhibit booth attendees through our Attendee Registration.
Q: I’m an exhibitor attending with my spouse. Can we take turns manning the booth to be able attend conference workshops?
A: If you plan to count your spouse as one of the two included exhibitor attendees, then yes! Otherwise, no, as all who attend need to be registered as attendees.
Q: If I am a personal member, can I get the member discount for my booth registration?
A: No. To receive a member discount, membership must be at the level of the organization that is to be exhibited. For instance, if a business wants to exhibit, they must be a business member to receive the discount, even if someone within the organization has a personal or Sustaining membership.
