As part of the Georgia Organics’ goal to identify and support evaluation and research on the food system in Georgia, we invite students to submit research posters at this year’s Annual Conference. By its nature, food system research is interdisciplinary, drawing from public health, education, agricultural science, foods and nutrition, family and consumer sciences, geography, anthropology, and community-based participatory research and action research, among other fields. We encourage posters that identify or inform key knowledge gaps related to the implementation, sustainability, and effectiveness on any issue within the Georgia food system.
Through this poster session we seek to support the development of a vibrant local food system research community in Georgia by creating opportunities for students across disciplines to share their research and develop the foundation for broader collaboration.
