The Fencepost sessions at the 2017 Georgia Organics Annual Conference were a hit! So we’re bringing them back with even more topics and times to choose from—and have expanded them from 20 minutes to a full half hour for even more learning opportunity.
These FREE 30-minute consulting sessions offer conference registrants the opportunity to connect with experts on a variety of topics. Farmers, home gardeners, Farm to School participants and everyone in between will have the opportunity to go deep on a variety of available topics. The Fencepost sessions will take place throughout the day on Saturday, Feb. 17 in the Hamilton room at the Augusta Convention Center. Please note that signing up for a Fencepost session may interfere with attending an educational session.
See below for a list of Fencepost Session topics.
NOTE: You must be registered for conference to participate. Due to limited space, there is a limit of ONE consulting session per conference registrant.
Farmers can choose from topics such as crop rotation, on-farm worker hygiene, cover cropping, preparing to sell wholesale, and more. To see a listing of all available topics and times, and to sign up for a Farmer Fencepost Session, click here.
Good Food Community members can learn about grant writing, garden based learning, farm to school curriculum, and more. To see a listing of all available topics and times, and to sign up for a Community Fencepost Session, click here.
